What are porcelain veneers?

Using these molds, we can have veneers crafted at our dental lab that will fit your teeth with perfect precision. The other initial step is we confer with you over the shade and coloration that you would prefer for your new porcelain veneers.
It is important to realize how thin veneers are when you are considering the shade and coloration. This is a very thin product, and as such your natural teeth can be visible behind the veneer if they are very dark. When choosing the color of your veneer, we will work closely with you to find a solution that you find pleasing.
Once we have determined the color, shape, and size of your new veneers we will send that information to our dental lab where they will be crafted. That will mark the end of the first of the two appointments that it will take to receive your veneers.
During the second appointment, we will prepare the teeth to receive the veneers and apply them using a permanent dental cement.
Are porcelain veneers expensive?
Porcelain veneers range in price between $900 and $2,500 per tooth depending on a number of varying factors. Compared to other alternative materials that are used to craft veneers, porcelain is a costlier procedure. However, porcelain is a much sturdier material in this application and will end up looking more natural and lasting longer than alternative materials.
